This morning, I walked into the classroom to get ready for the staff meeting when I saw that AN EGG SAC HAS HATCHED! I was going to drive all the way to Saskatoon to pick up an alternate egg sac for our students- now it’s not necessary. Please review the Praying Mantis page as to how to build a suitable ecosystem for a praying mantis. Students should bring a container to school Monday for their own mantis, should they be bringing one home.
