Podcast, Updates for families | Comment (0)Our First Podcasts
Here is a test post for uploading a podcast to our classroom blog.
This was the original text in this post. I was able to easily post our podcasts from our ning community. I have reposted them here on our classroom to facilitate the sharing process!
Here are our first podcasts. Our students had a blast working with garageband and really enjoyed this assignment. I had no doubt that they would rapidly become familiar with this tool, and they did. They are very proud of their first podcasts! Please leave some feedback to encourage them as they will be recording a “formal” podcast this week in class. If you are a parent from our class, make time to listen to the podcast with your child and highlight things they did well!

Podcast, Updates for families | Comments (4)Art gallery field trip
Here are a few pictures from our trip to the art gallery. I was unable to photograph the students in the gallery where the exhibits were displayed. We split the group in two to facilitate the viewing. This is the reason I was unable to photograph the other half of our students.
Please take a moment to listen to our first podcasts. They can be found here, on the left hand side, vertical bar. The students who participated in the field trip discussed their experiences. Students who were not present discussed an alternate subject. This first podcast is intended to allow students to become familiar with Garageband (audio recording software) prior to making their Social Studies podcast.
