January Conferences

February 1st, 2008

Hello!

I really appreciated seeing families this week. It was a productive opportunity to continue our goal setting and monitoring process for the 2007-2008 school year. Thank you for making yourself available during what must have been already been a busy week.

Here are a few pictures from our LTTA drama session.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend. Although it is cold, enjoy your time together!

Hello!

What a day! Our class performed at our school’s Remembrance Day. Our students performed a song that we wrote cooperatively in class. I had hoped to video tape our performance and produce DVDs for our families. This plan was however smitten when someone put a camcorder with a dead battery in the cabinet. When I tried to tape our students singing… all I could do was gently put down the useless camcorder. I did however take this picture that I would like to share with you. Many staff and students commented on the quality of our performance and the originality of the written lyrics. I am very proud of all our students!

Self-portraits

October 26th, 2007

Hello!

Today in art-class we are working on our self-portraits. The written portion of this art project will complete our goal-setting sheet.

Here is my example of a self-portrait I drew on the board for the kids. It’s a sad day when you confuse to which side you part your hair.

I hope everybody enjoys their weekend!

Thank you!

Hello!

I would like take this opportunity to thank all the families who have gone out-of their way to contribute something for our classroom. This past week our classroom has been offered books, fun pencils, rulers, prizes for hard workers and healthy snacks. Our students and I really appreciate your generosity!
