Our Wish
As a class we collaborative wrote a song together. This was a cooperative writing assignment. Students were to write a song in 4-4 time that is both French and English that reflected their feelings about war.
I recorded the (poorly played) guitar part at home with my Macbook using GarageBand. Students performed their song in front of the entire school during our Rememberence Day assembly. Several families and teachers commented on the quality of the students’ performance.
As a class, we had voted in favor of recording the song and posting it on our blog. I bought a T.sonic 840 by Transcend through Tiger Direct to facilitate this recording. Prior to our winter break students performed the song again in our class and I recorded it using my digital recorded. Here is the final product. Hope you enjoy!
